Description Intentional Teaching-Guiding Children's Play                                                                            Description: Teaching with intention means reflecting on your actions and aiming to support children's development and learning. It involves purposeful planning, considering specific learning goals, and adjusting teaching strategies to suit children's responses and individual abilities. Intentional teaching requires a deep understanding of children's learning processes and capabilities, empathy, and patience to align the curriculum with their interests.  This learning experience will explore best practices for intentional teaching.  The content will explore how social/emotional principles must be embedded throughout the day and in the curriculum.  This training also gives an overview of Universal Design for Learning.  It will briefly discuss the three fundamental principles and how it is a framework for inclusive education.  In a comprehensive setting, educate the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically.                                                                             Core of Knowledge: 3 Hours Curriculum
