| Description | Introduction to Positive Guidance and Discipline: Description: Positive Guidance is a framework in which children can learn acceptable social practices and ways to express their feelings. Participants will explore the benefits of using positive guidance and discipline practices and understand why they are beneficial to young children. Discussion will include realistic expectations for children based on their individual development, needs and interests. Participants will learn positive guidance strategies and identify resources that they can use within their own program. Core of Knowledge: 3 Hours Child Development |
