| Description | Modifying Your Environment for All Children's Success Children's motivation to learn is increased when their learning environment fosters their sense of belonging, purpose, and agency. During this workshop, participants will identify what factors contribute to children’s healthy growth and development and how to create a calm positive learning environment. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all children. Last, participants will evaluate their own program and create a plan for modifications to their own teaching strategies. Core of Knowledge: 1 Hour Child Development; 2 Hour Health/Safety/Nutrition |
